The Wonderful City is about to welcome the world’s skateboarding elite. The STU Pro Tour Rio will take place between 16 and 20 October, taking place at Praça Duó, in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, an event that promises to excite and inspire fans of all ages.
With the participation of athletes from 11 countries, the Brazilians Rayssa Leal and Augusto Akio will represent the colors of Brazil, while the Australian Sky Brown, champion of the STU Open Rio in 2022, has already confirmed her presence and promises many emotions.
“I think STU is one of the most fun events to attend. Besides the fact that Rio is an incredible city, the event offers more than just skateboarding, such as art exhibitions and concerts. I love it. The level is as high as in every competition we compete in around the world. I just hope to have a lot of fun and hang out with my friends. I love the crowd in Rio, they are very passionate and give me enormous support“, said Sky Brown, champion of the STU Open Rio in 2022, in the same Praça Duó.
The songs received a new painting by artist João Lelo, giving the event a vibrant and unique visual identity. This new aesthetic promises to not only beautify the space, but also reflect the energy and culture of skateboarding.
The STU Pro Tour is presented by Banco BV and has Petrobras as its title sponsor, in addition to federal government sponsorships, Monster Energy and Heineken 0.0, the official beer of the event. With support for sport from the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, its special partners are Kenner, New Era, Instituto Heineken and TYR, in addition to Docile as an official partner. The official hotels are Windsor and Lifestyle Laghetto Collection. Support comes from ABPSK and Drop Dead, with institutional support from the subprefecture of Barra da Tijuca.
