The Young and the Restless preview: recaps of episodes from Monday, October 14 to Friday, October 18, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Diane confronts Jack and Phyllis

In Los Angeles, Diane promises Jack that she will seek forgiveness for her past actions. However, she is not accepting at all and continues to criticize him, especially in relation to their son Kyle, who mourned him during his “death”.

Diane apologizes and reveals that Deacon helped her set up the charade that day. She admits to Jack that she can’t stand not being with Kyle anymore. She replies that she wants to protect their son from his toxicity at all costs and leaves…

Despite Diane’s reappearance, Ali still wants to get to know Jack. It makes him happy! Worried about him, Phyllis joins in and she tells him all about Diane. He can’t believe his ears… Jack (Peter Bergman, who spoke to AlloCiné about the sequel!) now has to talk to Kyle before Diana does.

Victoria’s behavior raises questions

Diane tries to find her son’s number… but Jack and Phyllis show up. The union between the two women is explosive! Phyllis criticizes Diane for her manipulations and selfishness.

They leave, and Jack calls Kyle to go back to Genoa City with Harrison, without telling Diane (Susan Walters, who tells us her character’s real intentions!) about her return. Kyle agrees to come.

At Newman’s, Adam wonders what Victoria thinks of Ashland. William questions himself and asks his ex for explanations. He asks her to deal with this problem. Ashland professes all his love for her and it seems to satisfy her…

Victor arranges for Victoria and Ashland’s plane to Italy not to take off. He assures Nikki that he wants his son-in-law to pay for his lie. Unable to leave just yet, Victoria tells her husband that she thinks Adam could have been setting her up all along and urges him to prove it.

Ashland walks in on Adam

Ashland is relieved to see that Victoria is on his side. She understands that Victor made sure they couldn’t fly and told her husband to go and rest while he waited for her to pass. He then summons Nick, Adam and their father.

Victoria explains to them that Victor’s intervention regarding the delayed flight will help her in the end. He also tells Adam that he no longer needs to change him to Newman. The three question each other and wonder where Ashland is. Victoria replies that she doesn’t know, but thinks she suspects something… At the same time, Ashland breaks into Adam’s office and searches his computer!

Ray feels left out

Chelsea asks Ray to accompany Connor to the game soon. The policeman happily accepts. Later, Chance confides in her that he wants to go back to a normal life with Abby. However, he fears that he will never be the kind of father that Devon is to Dominic…

Ray reveals that he sometimes feels left out of Sharon’s family and doesn’t want to share his feelings with her. Shensi tells this to Bis, who is worried that the police officer feels this way…

Adam and Sally continue their affair. She supports him in Newman and believes that his acting directorship is a test of the future…but Victor is keeping an eye on everything. He tells his son not to worry too much about his relationship with Sally.

Chelsea wants Sally to be happy with Adam as she is now focused on Connor and his projects. Finally, Devon and Amanda congratulate Elena and Nate on their move.
