Captain Marlowe on France 2: A surprise star in today’s episode casting!

Captain Marlow returns tonight on France 2! And it won’t be an episode like any other, as the rock legend’s son will be in the casting for this brand new chapter.

Indeed, David Halliday offers his first appearance on television. An event for John’s son, who has never tried comedy before, despite many offers, as he revealed during an interview with our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs:

“I don’t see much point in that.”

“I was offered singing roles, very close to me, I did not see much interest.“However, the idea intrigued him, even if he was waiting for the right role to start:

“The director of Captain Marlowe, Jose Diane, contacted me two years ago, but I wasn’t available. I thought he’d forget about me, but he called me. It really surprised me, because most people in this business forget quickly. I read the script – which I liked – and I went.

In the columns of Télé 7 Jours, Laura Smith’s brother spoke about her character, the journalist: “Greg is far from me, but I liked that he was a journalist who investigated difficult issues. I played him as reserved. He’s reserved and quite mysterious…”

As soon as the singer arrived on the set, he was able to count on the actors: “I was nervous at first because I rarely act, but I had an epiphany. Everyone welcomed me with open arms. Before filming, the production took us to a creperie in Brittany, where the story unfolds.

“By the end of the meal, we felt like we were on vacation together, and that helped because the investigation takes place at the heart of a group of friends who are losing themselves.”

“I am impressed with his professionalism”

As for how his meeting with Corinne Masiero went, he answers directly: “From a human point of view, she is an incredible woman, honest and very interesting, I was impressed by her professionalism.

“And I tried to ‘steal’ from him to be more comfortable in front of the camera. I really learned a lot from him.” A good anecdote! See you tonight from 9:05pm to discover this new episode Captain Marlowe along with David Halliday.
