The arrests of the mother and daughter included the seizure of cocaine, crack cocaine and vehicle tampering equipment
The Civil Police, through the 3rd Drug Trafficking Investigation Station of Denarc, arrested a 50-year-old woman in the Humaitá neighborhood of Porto Alegre on Friday night (10/11). The suspect was caught with 5 portions of cocaine, weighing 3.2kg, and 2 portions of crack, weighing 2kg in total.
After the operation, investigations led the police to the neighborhood of Ipiranga, in Sapucaia do Sul/RS, where a drug laboratory and a clandestine vehicle license plate factory were found. A 24-year-old girl, daughter of the previously detained suspect, and a 25-year-old man were arrested there. Seized with them were 1.2 kg of cocaine, 119 grams of crack, 2 kg of marijuana, as well as supplies and equipment for tampering with license plates.
Chief Joel Wagner said the operation is part of a Civil Police strategy aimed at strengthening investigations against drug trafficking and the fight against criminal organizations, with the aim of dismantling these networks.
