It’s time to pull out the blankets and prepare the hot drinks! Traditional Christmas movies are back on TF1 this Monday 14th October. It is enough to put a little balm in the heart.
To officially kick off the season and immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the end of the year holidays, Cheney will premiere My Christmas Carol, a movie starring Scott Wolf and Lacey Chabert. The cult series of the 90s.
Indeed, Scott Wolf and Lacey Chabert played Bailey and Claudia Salinger, respectively, in Life at Five. This hit series, which aired from 1994 to 2000, followed 5 siblings trying to navigate their lives after the death of their parents.
Almost 24 years after the show ended, Scott Wolf and Lacey Chabert will be reprising their roles in My Christmas Carol.
In this film, they play the roles of Brad and Lindsey, two brothers and sisters who go to Scotland for Christmas at the invitation of their mother. What they don’t know is that this trip will be an opportunity to revisit the past and that it will change their lives forever.
“We were trying to find the right story”
It is in columns TVLine That Scott Wolf and Lindsay Chabert were committed to this union.
“Scott and I have wanted to work together since Life at Five ended 23 years ago. He worked at Hallmark a few years ago on a great movie, and a lot of people started asking us, “Are you going to work together?” We were just trying to find the right story“, says Lacey Chabert.
After waiting so long for the right project to work together again, the two actors were clearly pleased to find themselves on set.
For Scott Wolf “It was an absolute dream. I fell in love with Lacey from the moment I met her. He is as kind, talented, loyal and generous as anyone on the planet… he is family. I feel like she is my sister“.
Many people watch the life of the couple
Fans of La vie à cinq will be pleased to know that this Christmas TV movie revisits the series several times. Scott Wolf also explains: “We talked about it during development and said it would be a lot of fun to see eye to eye throughout the film. And we’ve found a balance so that it doesn’t become too over the top. I think some of them are a little obvious. For others, you should really pay attention and be a true fan of La vie à cinq“.
However, the actor specifies that “Perhaps it will be more important at the end. I can’t reveal it… you’d really have to be careful, but there are others like, obviously, the name of the pub and certain servers.“.
My Christmas Tale, this Monday 14 October at 2.20pm on TF1.
