A bar security guard died and a 10-year-old boy was shot in the head in a shooting in Riacho Fundo II (DF) on the night of Sunday 13th.

The man, whose identity has not yet been revealed, died at the scene.

According to the Military Police, a shot also hit a 10-year-old boy who was at the scene in the head. THE TVGlobothe prime minister said the bar customers took him to a fire station.

Subsequently, the military took him to the Taguatinga Regional Hospital (HRT). According to the report, the child was conscious, but very disoriented. He is still receiving treatment in intensive care.

The motive for the shooting is still unknown. The case will be investigated at the 29th police station, in Riacho Fundo II.
