Harrison Ford (Star Wars), interpreter of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in Captain America: Brave New Worldrevealed why he decided to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor will replace William Hurtwho played the character since The Incredible Hulkfrom 2008, but passed away in 2022.

“This is the Marvel universe and I’m just passing through. I’m a first-time navigator, new to this city,” he explained in an interview with GQ Magazine. “I understand the appeal of other types of films than the ones we made in the 1980s and 1990s.
