Avengers Endgame: Big mistake in the final battle

Avengers Endgame: Big mistake in the final battle

Despite its titanic success when it was released in 2019, “Avengers: Endgame”, the final confrontation between Thanos and the Marvel superheroes, contains some mistakes, and in particular, a pleasant mistake in the middle of the final battle.

A sword that changes hands, a taco that steams, or a beard that visibly grows…

The biggest success in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a giant gathering of all its heroes for the final showdown against Thanos, Avengers: Endgame (like any blockbuster) also has its few faults.

False Connections, which Michelle and Michelle apparently worked on in a program specifically dedicated to feature films, which you can (re)discover below. The most impressive of these mistakes is the film’s final battle involving the characters of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

As the Mad Titan legions descend on Earth and the Avengers desperately try to destroy the Infinity Gauntlet, Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to their van to reactivate the quantum tunnel that will allow them to destroy the Infinity Gauntlet. A dangerous artifact. Exactly 2 hours, 22 minutes and 30 seconds into the movie, we see that they have reached the car and that they are inside (see above).

However, just 30 seconds later, when Black Panther crosses the battlefield with the Infinity Gauntlet, we can see Ant-Man in the background fighting Leviathan in his giant form (see below). Would Ant-Man end up reactivating the quantum tunnel and therefore return to the fight?

This is what we can imagine to explain this huge discrepancy. However, as we can see four minutes later, at 2 hours, 26 minutes and 40 seconds, Ant-Man and the Wasp hadn’t moved an inch. They are still at the van trying to fix the car.

As you can see by (re)discovering our False Fitting about Avengers: Endgame, other mistakes are lurking everywhere in the movie. In the final moments of the feature film, you can, for example, notice that Thor’s beard is not necessarily the same size from one shot to the next.
