The São-Paulino coach highlighted the team’s evolution in the league.
The coach of São Paulo, Luis Zubeldia, spoke after the 3-0 victory over Vasco, in the Brazilian championship, in a match played at the Brinco de Ouro da Princesa stadium, in Campinas, this Wednesday (16).
The coach commented on the club’s performance in this Brasileirão, underlining the improvement compared to last year’s championship: “I want to underline the team’s performance in this Brazilian, which is fighting for a place in the Libertadores. Compared to the 2023 championship, in same round we have eleven points more. This is good news for San Paolo.”
Zubelida also spoke about how the break for the FIFA meeting contributed to the emotional rehabilitation of the San Paolo team: “In a 38-day championship, the team goes through many moments of oscillation, one moment they play badly and another they play Well”. With the FIFA break the possibility arose to carry out more training sessions and with these training sessions to resolve some of the players’ internal problems, given that we don’t need to play more than every three days, see the players and talk to them.”
