Dwayne Johnson: Fast and Furious star soon to team up with Hollywood’s most mysterious director?

“Working years – we finally shared bread, drank, laughed, drank a little (or maybe it was just me), talked about life, love, boys and spent time on our passion. for cinema and narration, then we raised our glasses and said a toast…”. It was on Instagram, with a supporting photo, that Dwayne Johnson announced his future collaboration with JJ Abrams.

And everything suggests that the star has agreed with Hollywood’s most secretive director (Christopher Nolan) by not revealing anything about the project. Except that it will “fun” and “Born of the spirit Zach Penn“The Ready Player One, Free Guy or Avengers screenwriter is also pictured sandwiched between JJ Abrams and the actor’s producing partner Hiram Garcia.

But what is this famous project? The first option would be the Super 8 auteur’s next film: a feature film about which we don’t currently know much (surprisingly!) except that it will reunite Glenn Powell and Jenna Ortega. According to the latest rumors, a supernatural being is facing the couple.

Except Zac Penn isn’t associated with this movie, officially at least. So it has to be another project. Perhaps not for cinema itself, as JJ Abrams’ work, which can both direct and produce, spans the small and big screens. Suffice it to say, the mystery is complete for now.

Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson will be hosting the year-end celebrations at the cinema and in Two Voices: Maui reprising his role in Waianae 2, which is expected to open on November 27 in France. And then Santa Claus JK Simmons Red One. The action comedy is slated for a November 15 release in the US, though no date has yet been set.
