The spin-off series of “The Boys” which until now was called “The Boys: Varsity” has received a new official title.

Prime Video has announced that the series, which will show a group of young people in the universe of “The Boys” with superpowers in a sort of university for heroes, will be officially titled “Gen V”. The announcement was made in a video posted on Amazon Prime Video’s social networks, and the main actors of the series were the ones who revealed the information.

The new series is a spin-off of Prime Video’s hit production “The Boys,” which follows a group of vigilantes who turn against the Seven, corrupt superheroes ruled by the Vought organization.

The series presents a reality in which there are people with superpowers, in a world similar to ours. But unlike the selfless heroes audiences have grown accustomed to from Marvel and DC, most superhumans are proud and seek fame above all else.

Now, “Gen V” will usher in a Vought-run university of sorts for the development of new heroes and explore the hormonal and competitive lives of new superheroes, testing their physical, sexual and moral limits as they compete for the best job contracts in the best. city.

“Gen V” has Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters as showrunners and executive producers, while Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H.
