Admittedly, there are some short lengths. But other than that, it’s great, thank you Mr. Lelouch for this movie, where the actors entered the screen, especially the young ones. Highly recommend…you get what you pay for.”

For Hugo G. (5/5):Just an exception!!!!!!! Bravo for this 2:30 hours of pure entertainment. We laugh, we cry! Thank you!!! There is cinema everywhere and the actors are outstanding!

Finally, according to caroleo2 (5/5): “I loved this beautiful love story and immersion in the 80s. Actors touch. I did not see the time has passed! A successful film!

Does too much style kill style?

Among the negative aspects highlighted by viewers, some lead to excessive length and style. For Critic Lovers (1.5/5), “Gilles Lellouche can be recognized for his careful image and some excellent ideas for staging. But everything is drowned in the abundance of pompous and uninteresting effects, which sometimes gives the impression of watching a music video.

The film ends up being quite a charmer that gets lost in trying to do too much, even finding a way to include a musical comedy scene that comes out of nowhere and is far from delivering the desired lyric…

chloé V. (2/5) shares her opinion: “Even if the first part of the 80s is enjoyable, the film falls apart too quickly and too long once Adele and Francois reach the adult versions of the characters.

A giant, super long clip? Is this a demo version of the camera manufacturer? It’s still very beautiful, but we, the audience, are away from the film for too long. It is long, very long. No phew.

Controversial movie violence

According to Chantal Vicente (2/5): “Too much violence kills the movie. It’s not a romantic movie, it’s a super violent drama. Too bad because the actors are fantastic, but don’t go there if you think you’re watching a romantic movie.

For Evelyn Weinberg (0.5/5):Very long film, lots of violent scenes, reminiscent of what we see in the news everyday. Adele Exarchopoulos and Francois Siville are amazingly good.
