The Fiat Strada didn’t even need weekend sales to knock the Hyundai HB20 out of the lead. According to Fenabrave data from this Sunday 20th, the Strada pick-up surpasses the Korean sedan by 8 sales records: 7,968 units against 7,960. HB20 has been the leader since the beginning of the month.

Despite its leadership, Fiat Strada is still threatened by Volkswagen Polo, which has recorded a stronger growth rate in recent days. So much so that the Polo already has 7,258 registrations, in third place. Polo almost causes a three-way tie in this scenario.

The automotive market is hot in October. “Up to 17 October, 132,500 cars and light vehicles were sold, this volume represents a growth of 16% compared to the same period of the previous year and compared to the month of September the sector advances by 7%”, informs automotive consultant Marcelo Cavalcante.

“Since the beginning of the year, 1,882,580 vehicles have been sold, recording a growth of 14.19% compared to the previous year,” adds Cavalcante. “The month of October continues with strong participation in direct selling, the modality sees 53% participation with 47% retail.”
