This old speech served to introduce a new campaign from 20th Century Studios. To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the film’s release Alien: the eighth passengerthe company has decided to create a limited edition of the latest addition to the franchise.
Alien: Romuluswhich takes place between the first and second films, premiered in theaters in August of this year. The work has just arrived in streaming in the United States and, from December 3, it will also be available on VHS.

The famous franchise that mixes horror and science fiction arrived at its seventh film this year: feature films Alien vs. Predator they are not on this list.
As I said, Romulus is set between the first two Alien films, taking place more than 50 years apart.
The main protagonist of the series is Ellen Ripley, a space crew petty officer played by actress Sigourney Weaver. To give you an idea, she is the protagonist of 4 of these 7 works.
Among these are the original, from 1979; the sequence Aliensdirected by James Cameron, 1986; Alien 3by David Fincher, in 1992; AND Alien resurrectionby Jean-Pierre Jeunet, 1997.
The films complete the filmography Prometheus2012 and Alien: Covenantof 2017. Both are directed by the same director as the original, the award-winning Ridley Scott.
