It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Tuesday 22 October 2024 Episode 1029 [SPOILERS]

On Tuesday, October 22, it all starts here…

Leonardo is playing with fire

After being banned from using OZ at the Institute, Leonard doesn’t know how he can win a trade against Gaspard, who is 300 points ahead of him in the rankings. Malik confides in Leonard that the ban was caused by Penelope telling Miriel about the application. Leonardo directly questions the young woman about this. She says she told her partner about it and thought he would keep it a secret. He honestly blames himself.

A little later, Penelope calls out to Antoine in the park, expressing anger and feelings of betrayal. Antoine excuses himself by highlighting the dangers of the app’s challenges, which in particular lead to a fight between Leonard and Gaspar in Listrac’s cooking class. Penelope retorts that the disagreement between the two boys has nothing to do with OZ, but with their cohabitation at the boarding house, which went badly from the start. Antoine does not understand why his girlfriend is so protective of the application. Penelope explains that she needs to lighten up and feel like a normal student.

After which Penelope confides in Joachim and Jasmine about her condition. She is even more worried because she knows that Antoine is going to propose to her, while she is not sure if she wants to take that step. He tells Jasmine that his heart problems made him want to enjoy every moment. The young girl thinks that she should talk to Antoine about this. But Penelope doesn’t want him to change his view of her when she learns about his health problems.

During Chief Listrac’s course, at 250 points on OZ, a new challenge has been launched: you must take down the Institute’s flag. With Gaspard refusing to renege on their deal, Leonard has no choice but to attempt a challenge. Sabre, cautiously, tells him that he has every chance of winning, as Gaspar is suffering from vertigo. Maya then creates a discussion with the Listrak chef by pouring sauce on him so that Leonard can slip away.

With Malick’s help, Leonard climbs to the top of the Institute’s tower and retrieves the flag. Penelope surprises them by suggesting that Malik go help Leonard while he stays downstairs to watch.

At the end of the day, Chef Listrac assures Chef DeLobel that no incident has interrupted his course. But at the same time, the director of the institute notices that the flag has disappeared. He receives an anonymous email with a selfie from Leonard, which he proudly holds. Faced with his defiance, Elder DeLabel intends to make Leonard an example to all the other students.

In turn, Antoine finds Penelope in the park, regretting not warning her about OZ with DeLobel. He tells her how much he loves her and how he wants to share everything with her. A panicked Penelope confesses to him that she saw the engagement ring he kept in his coat pocket and that she doesn’t want to marry him…

Commencement day at the atelier for Judy

In the atelier, Matteo helps Jude, who is particularly stressed, as the opening of the restaurant-laboratory with its concept approaches. So he is there to convince her of the quality of his cabbage. But at the same time, Rose and Enzo arrive to tell the young chef that there are no lunch reservations. However, Rose emphasizes that the opening will be communicated via social media. In turn, Matteo convinces Thelma and Colleen to go to lunch at the atelier.

Mehdi, Quentin, and Amy encourage people around them to fill the restaurant-lab. Word of mouth worked effectively, so much so that the launch of Jude’s concept was successful. The latter is very upset with Mateo’s support. At the end of the service, Judy congratulates her crew on a job well done.

Gaitan is back

Gaetan returns to the swamp roommate. He returns from Dinar, where he supported Salome to open her restaurant, in the company of Kelly and Anais. He now gets to know Emma and explains that he is a sports professor at the institute.

A little later, Gaitan surprises Amy and Quentin on the school steps discussing his PE lessons. Amy declares that she is going to dry them out because they won’t use her to take back her father’s restaurant.

During the day, Gaitan meets Joachim in a city cafe and confides in him the impression that he was of no use to the institute. Joachim reassures him of his usefulness as a sports teacher and emphasizes that he also has knowledge of nutrition.

At her roommate, Carla asks Amy for her opinion on a lesson with Chef Guinot, who has asked them to cook versions of fish tartare and tapas. Gaitan also offers to make an opinion. But he cannot admit that Carla was cooked dry, and his advice is only in terms of nutrition. Seeing the two girls mocking him, Gaetan leaves upset.
