Tom Hardy’s involvement in the Venom movies has always been a mystery. The actor, with quite a demanding filmography, shines in this franchise, which is often killed by critics. However, the box office is there, until the third – and final offer? – shutter.
Directed by Kelly Marcel, Venom: The Last Dance follows Andy Serkis’ film – AlloCiné audience rating 2.1 out of 5. In this new installment, Eddie (Tom Hardy) and his double, Venom, are on the run. Each is hunted by their peers, and as the noose tightens, the duo must make a devastating decision that heralds the end of their adventure.
Previewed in the US, the third installment seems to be doing better than its two predecessors. Surprise! Some critics claim that this is the best film of the trilogy. A quick rundown of first thoughts:
#VenomTheLastDance It’s the best of the Venom movies – the craziness is greatly increased, but so is the heart. It’s not perfect, but it’s super entertaining and there’s a giant monster that chews people up and sprays blood on the back of its head. beautiful nut. 🕷️ pic.twitter.com/Ebp5ONseEG

Venom: The Last Dance is the most entertaining trilogy. It’s basically a funny and sweet road trip where Eddie and Venom live out their Telma and Louie runaway dreams, including car karaoke and rescuing dogs. You might even get emotional. #VenomTheLastDance pic.twitter.com/9vFtq3eJfT

#VenomTheLastDance It may not be a great movie overall, but it still manages to be the best in a trilogy that really couldn’t achieve much.
Extremely fun sequences and Eddie’s relationship with Venom is still outstanding. A satisfying end to this trilogy. pic.twitter.com/0O4Ei2dHzM

“Venom The LastDance may not be a very good movie at all, but it still manages to be the best in a trilogy that really didn’t manage to accomplish much. Extremely funny scenes and Eddie’s relationship with Venom is still the best part. A satisfying end to this trilogy.“
i think #VenomTheLastDance Is the best of the three, but still incredibly bad. It’s quirky and watchable because it’s willing to try anything. A symbiote fish? Of course. Ms. Chen’s dance sequence? why not I laughed a few times, but this trilogy accomplished very little. sigh pic.twitter.com/qxiouIVWU7

“I think Venom The Last Dance is the best of the three, although it’s still incredibly bad. It’s strange and remarkable because he’s willing to try anything. A symbiotic fish? Of course. A dance sequence from Ms. Chen? why not I laughed a few times, but this trilogy didn’t deliver much. sigh“
