The crime occurred during an exam in Horizonte, Ceará; the police investigate the case

A 29 year old womanwhose name has not been revealed, she reported a radiology technician for making her strip naked and then touching her private parts during a chest x-ray examination at a private clinic in Horizonte, Ceará. The case was registered as a crime against sexual dignity and is being investigated by the Civil Police.

The complaint was registered on Wednesday 23rd at the Horizonte metropolitan police station. According to the victim, he initially asked her if she had already taken the exam and she said no. He then asked her to take off all her clothes, which she agreed to, despite finding the request strange, leaving only her panties on.

After completing the exam, he stated that he needed to remove all of his clothing to perform other procedures. She asked him if it was really necessary and he said yes, making her completely naked.

“After the exam he asked me to lie down on a stretcher and touched me. When he touched me, I asked him: ‘Is this exam really like this?’” the victim said in an interview with TV Verdes Mares, the state TV Globo affiliate.

Embarrassed, she told him that she urgently needed to take the exam and he then gave her his phone number to follow up on the procedure. After leaving the clinic, she discussed the situation with colleagues and was advised that it was incorrect. The victim told his partner what happened, who called the technician and confronted him.

He confessed to the crime, asked for forgiveness and asked her how much she wanted so as not to expose him. “I was shocked, scared, nervous, everything you can imagine,” she said.

He also told the broadcaster that he had looked for the clinic, but had received no support. In a note to Earththe Civil Police reported that the case is being investigated as a crime against sexual dignity.
