The final work of the perfectionist filmmaker’s career took more than a year to complete the recordings
One of the most celebrated filmmakers of all time, Stanley Kubrick He was responsible for directing great cinema classics. Simple scene took weeks to record

In the same interview, Nicole Kidman revealed that a simple scene with Tom Cruisein which its characters appear smoking marijuana in bed, took weeks to complete. She said:
It was the scene with Tone and I, in which we smoke marijuana in bed, laugh a little and have a long monologue. It took many weeks (to be finished). We rehearsed a lot in bed and he (Kubrick) didn’t like what we were doing. So we had to rework it, building it while it was being recorded. There was no need to rush. Stanley would never go over your budget. What he liked to buy was time.”
