The goal that Pelé did not score was scored again, this time by midfielder Igor Bambam, from Iraty. He scored a beautiful goal in the 2-0 victory over Apongas, in the quarterfinals of the Campeonato Paranaense, in a match played this Saturday (26th) at the Estádio dos Pássaros.
The action, in fact, took place in the 12th minute of the second half, when Iraty was already leading 1-0. BamBam stole the ball in the defense, saw the opposing goalkeeper in front of him and shot from before midfield to score the goal. However, after winning 3-0 in the first match, the Arapongas advanced to the next stage with an aggregate score of 3-2.
The goalscorer is 22 years old and played for Coritiba’s youth team. He has played for Ipatinga, Patriotas-PR, Araguaia-MT and Campo Novo-MT, and is currently at Iraty.
