Universal Pictures Brasil released, this Monday (28), a new video of Wickedfilm adaptation of the hit Broadway musical, with behind-the-scenes footage of the film’s national dubbing, which will feature Myra Ruiz and Fabi Bang as Elphaba and Glindarespectively.

The actresses played the characters in the Brazilian production of the play and, now, will lend their voices to the characters played, originally, by Cynthia Erivo (Harriet) and Ariana Grande (Don’t Look Up). Check out the video:

What is the story of Wicked?

Wicked tells the story of two unlikely friends, Elphababefore becoming the Wicked Witch of the Westand Glindathe future Good Witch of the Southwho become best friends, even with opposing personalities, different points of view and the fight for the love of the same man.

In addition to Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grandethe cast of Wicked still has Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton, Travel Companions), Bowen Yang (Megaromantic, Saturday Night Live) and Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) and Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere at the Same Time), between others.

When does it debut Wicked?

Previously scheduled for November 28th, Wickeddirected by Jon M. Chufrom In a New York Neighborhood (2020), will arrive in Brazilian cinemas a week earlier, from November 21stwith early sessions starting on the 19th of the same month. Watch the trailer:
