When the trailer of Venom: The Last Round was released, the horse-shaped Venom, which Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) montages, stood out among the other images. According to the screenwriter and director Kelly Marcelthere was also an unprecedented animal form adopted by the symbiote, but it was not included in the final cut.

Venom has a fish and a frog, but there was also an eel in the movie, which was eventually cut out. In a recent interview with Variety’s Kelly Marcel, he said: “The sequence was getting too long. One of them had to disappear. The eel didn’t survive. The fish, the frog and the horse survived – and then something else . There’s a little more Venomization in the movie.”

Who stayed until the last minutes in the Venom: The Last Round after the creditshe saw a devastated land, in which only a Mexican bartender and a cockroach survived. Black goo oozes out of the cockroach, proving that Venom – who was separated from Eddie Brock in a sad fate at the end of the film – may have somehow managed to survive.

“I would love for there to be another Venom movie involving another character,” Marcel told the publication. “Maybe there are even some Easter eggs in this movie about what it could be.”

Venom: The Last Round is shown in Brazilian cinemas.
