20th Century Studios has released the first image of Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in the award-winning series “The Bear”, starring as Bruce Springsteen in the biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere”. The film explores the creation of the famous album “Nebraska”, released in 1982. In the photo, White appears in a characteristic Springsteen look, including a checked shirt and leather jacket, a faithful representation of the musician’s style.

“Deliver Me From Nowhere” is directed by Scott Cooper (“The Pale Blue Eye”) and is based on the book of the same name, published in 2023 and written by Warren Zanes. The work shows Bruce Springsteen’s journey to make his sixth studio album, a collection of essential acoustic songs that marked a new artistic direction in his career. The production is signed by Scott Stuber, his first undertaking after leaving his position as film director at Netflix.

The cast also includes Harrison Sloan Gilbertson (“Oppenheimer”), Odessa Young (“The Staircase”) and Paul Walter Hauser (“Black Bird”).

Meeting between White and Springsteen

Recently, Jeremy Allen White and Bruce Springsteen met in person at the premiere of the documentary “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. White attended the event, where he posed for photos with Springsteen, strengthening the bond between the actor and the music icon he will portray on screen.
