What is the story of Megalopolis?

Written and directed by Coppola, Megalopolis It took forty years to finally reach cinemas. The idea for the film emerged in the 1980s, but the filmmaker was unable to find financing to make the film at the time and even sold some of his properties to get the film off the ground.
