Clues or just luxury? The purchase of a property in Miami, worth $26 million, has intensified rumors about Neymar’s move to soccer in the United States. The topic of the possible re-release of the “MSN” trio had already been circulating for days in the American press, but it gained traction after the Brazilian’s recent investment in a villa in the Bal Harbor region.

Neymar returned to action this month after more than a year out due to a knee injury. The Brazilian has a contract with Al-Hilal, of Saudi Arabia, until June 2025 and is therefore free to sign a pre-contract with another club from 1 January. Rumors are circulating in the media that the striker is analyzing the next steps in his career and options include the United States.

According to ‘The Wall Street Journal’, which reported the purchase of the property, the investment was not linked to professional issues. Neymar saw the ideal opportunity, within what he was looking for, and the deal happened quickly.

Neymar’s new villa

The property cost 26 million dollars (the equivalent of R$ 148 million at current prices) and is located on the Bal Harbor waterfront in Miami, one of the most exclusive locations in the city. The investment given the size of the land: more than 2,300 m2.

“Everything happened very quickly when we found the opportunity. The buyer said, ‘This is exactly what you’re looking for’. It all happened just like that,” the WSJ said.

Without mentioning Neymar’s name, the purchase was represented by real estate consultant Bento Queiroz. Images of the mansion dominated social media after it was released by broker Douglas Elliman. According to reports, no other property in the region costs this much.
