In the last two Fantastic Beasts films, derived from Harry Potter, Jude Law played Dumbledore, one of the franchise’s greatest characters.
Performer of the young version of Albus Dumbledore in the films of Fantastic Beasts, Jude Law revealed that the franchise is on hiatus, with no feature film in development at the moment.
During an interview with Varietythe artist speculated about the future of the franchise, based on the books by JK Rowlingand commented on how new films are on hold. “My guess is that now that they are doing Harry Potter as a TV show, they’ll probably put their energy into it, he said. I certainly haven’t heard there’s anything on the horizon.”
Furthermore, law talked about playing a role that was also played by actors like Richard Harris and Michael Gambon. “To play him and really feel his extraordinary powers, I found a cool place in myself. I liked his heart and I liked playing him because of that. I always liked being in his shoes,” he said.
