THE Nintendo Music it is the Japanese developer’s new bet to win over game enthusiasts even more. The application brings together 40 years of soundtracks from games that have marked the company’s history, including Super Mario, Pokémon and The Legend of Zelda.
The feature is only available to subscribers of Go onlineNintendo’s paid service. You can now download it for iOS and Android. The application was released for customers from Brazil and 43 other regions around the world.
You can search for a specific song title, select particular game songs, or find songs related to your favorite character. Songs can also be downloaded for offline playback on your mobile phone.
The application also provides recommendations based on the player’s activity history on Switch Online. All songs can be inserted into playlists created by the user himself or selected from lists already created by Nintendo.
Streaming will have the option to extend song playback for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. “You can also hide specific soundtracks to avoid spoilers for games you haven’t tried yet,” the statement says.
Anyone who wants to download and try the Nintendo Music app can create a free trial of Nintendo Switch Online, lasting seven days and without automatic renewal. It is not necessary to own a console, just a subscription to the service and a Nintendo account.
Waiting for the new console
Meanwhile, expectations are growing for the launch of Nintendo Switch 2. Rumors suggest that the device could feature 4K capabilities and visual quality similar to that of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, indicating a fierce competition with Sony and Microsoft.

It is also possible that, with the boom in artificial intelligence, the company is considering adaptations. Theoretically, details would be released by March 2025, but, in recent weeks, speculation has increased that the product will be unveiled by the end of the year.
