Didier Latour, a security guard at a supermarket, lives off his future son-in-law, whom he cannot support. Bernard Latour, who dreams of becoming an actor, takes odd jobs with no future prospects and is looking for a permanent home. Pascal Latour, CEO of a communications agency, is doing everything he can to curry favor with his boss.
The three men have never met or even heard of each other, but everything changes when they learn of their mother’s death. Called to the notary, Didier, Bernard and Pascal discover that they are brothers and have inherited 3 million francs.

Obviously, the answer is yes, in every way. A true commercial success, The Three Brothers attracted nearly 7 million viewers and thus reached number one at the French box office upon its release in 1995. It achieved classic status with audiences almost instantly.
