Vera Viel, presenter’s wife Rodrigo Faro, took stock of the month of October, after receiving a serious diagnosis and undergoing surgery. At age 49, she was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, a rare and malignant tumor, in her left thigh.
“The month of October passed and left me with a new life, it was overwhelming and I learned so many things, I received the greatest gift of all on my birthday which was being with Jesus. I want to thank my husband for being always close to me, my daughters and all the thousands of people who prayed for me”, he wrote.
In the comments on the post, Vera received more support from the public, who hope for her complete recovery. “You are an extraordinary woman,” one said. “Everything worked, Jesus continue to bless you,” another commented.
It is worth noting that, weeks after the operation, Vera has already started the second phase of treatment against the disease, namely radiotherapy sessions.
