River Brigade on France 3: Did the actors perform their own stunts?

Tonight, France 3 offers its viewers a new TV movie that will appeal to all fans of police investigation. Titled The River Brigade, this 90-minute feature also allows us to see familiar faces from the general public again.

Three actors from Sous le Soleil teamed up in Brigade du rivière

Thomas Juan plays Commander Flaubert, while Roxanne Turmel (Plus belle la vie) slips into the shoes of Katia Lestrade. But that’s not all, because there are two iconic actors from Sous le soleil. Indeed, Ibrahim Koma and David Brecourt found each other during the filming of the film.

Remember, the first one played Zachary, the adopted son of the second Baptiste from the late 90s, but above all, the presence of Benedict Delmas behind the camera will spoil the good memories. Unforgettable Lore made a TV movie like this.

River Brigade was filmed at Chateau de Chambord

Last April, the River Brigade team traveled to Tours, Blois, but also to the Château de Chambord to put together most of the scenes in the fiction. Seen as a potential pilot that could lead to a series, France 3 could start shooting a few episodes if the audience is there.

As its title suggests, River Brigade Spends a lot of time on water. But then, did the actors have to go through any special training? Did they perform their stunts? The production agreed to answer us: “Our actors had swimming and diving scenes in the pool.”

“They also had lessons for boating, but not for river diving. We used two-seaters.” So they are not submerged in the depths of the lake. To watch or rewatch a TV movie, go to France TV Replays.
