EPTC Porto Alegre opens internship vacancies with scholarship and transportation assistance
The municipality of Porto Alegre, through the EPTC (Public Transport and Traffic Company), has started a selection process for internships aimed at high school, secondary and technical students. The selection, carried out in collaboration with CIEE-RS (Rio Grande do Sul Business-School Integration Center), aims to fill immediate vacancies and create a Reserve Register (CR) in sectors such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Journalism and Technical administrative.
Registrations are open until November 11, 2024 and must be completed exclusively online via the CIEE-RS portal. No registration fee will be charged and applicants must meet the minimum age requirements and demonstrate active enrollment in an institution recognized by the MEC. The objective test will be carried out virtually, ranking those approved in decreasing order based on the final grade obtained.
Selected interns will receive a salary of R$7.57 per hour for secondary/technical school students and R$8.51 for higher education students, as well as a transport allowance corresponding to two daily public transport fares urban. This benefit can be increased subject to proof of need.
10% of the vacant posts will be reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), who will participate in the selection on equal terms with other candidates. EPTC emphasizes that it is the responsibility of candidates to follow all updates on the selection process on the CIEE-RS website.
