The victim’s ex-partner was arrested for femicide and concealment of a corpse
The body of a 22-year-old woman was found inside a refrigerator, on the afternoon of Monday 4th, in Senador Camará, in the western area of Rio de Janeiro. The victim was identified as Milena Vitória Garcia de Barros and was allegedly killed by her ex-partner. The case is under investigation.
This was reported by the Military Police Earththat the teams of the 14th BPM (Bangu) were called in the afternoon to a homicide incident, in Travessa Santa Luzia. The police arrived at the scene, where they discovered that Milena was dead. The location has been preserved for the investigation, conducted by the Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC).
In a statement, the Civil Police reported that the Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) is investigating the case and that the teams caught the victim’s ex-partner red-handed for the crimes of femicide and concealment of a corpse.
According to the CNNthe Prime Minister was called after the young girl’s stepfather found the young girl’s body inside the refrigerator. The suspicion is that her ex-boyfriend killed her because she refused to resume the relationship with him.
