Singer and actress Natalie Fauran, best known for voicing Ariel’s daughter Melody in The Little Mermaid 2 in the early 2000s, has died at the age of 38.

French singer and actress Nathalie Fauran, who voiced two Disney characters in the early 2000s, has died aged 38.

At the age of 15, after spending her childhood in Corsica, she entered a national competition to vocally portray young Melody, Ariel and Eric’s daughter, in The Little Mermaid 2: Back to the Ocean. He is then selected by Disney to interpret the dialogues but also the songs for the film, which will be released direct to video later that year.

This first role allows Natalie Fauran to participate in shows organized around the film and then, two years later, to be chosen again by Disney for a new feature film: Peter Pan 2: Return to Wonderland. This sequel, which notably features Wendy’s daughter, will receive a theatrical release.

After this early career in animation, the young singer continued in the field of music and released her first self-titled album instinct in 2004. On stage, he accompanies many French singing talents, such as Davey, Patrick Fiore or Gilbert Montagne. In 2006, he also voiced the credits for the series on M6.
