Since 2015, rumors have spread in Hollywood! The reboot of the Indiana Jones saga will star Chris Pratt as the famous archaeologist. The Guardians of the Galaxy star recently spoke out on the subject.
On June 28, 2023, Harrison Ford will return to his Indiana Jones costume for the last time in Part 5, directed by James Mangold.
The actor, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, is inseparable from the character of this cheeky archaeologist, made famous by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
Since 2015, before Episode 5 became official, there have been rumors that Disney is working on a reboot of the franchise.
In addition, the firm with great ears has found the perfect successor to Harrison Ford: the very cool Chris Pratt.
The latter, who became very popular thanks to the success of Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, would be an ideal candidate to embody the adventurer in the hat.
The actor, a guest on the set of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, was candidly quizzed on the subject. “I don’t even know who Steven Spielberg is. Who? Steven Who? No. Are they making another Indiana Jones with Harrison Ford?”asked Chris Pratt humorously.
“All I know is that I read a quote from Harrison Ford, I don’t know if it was really him or not, but it scared me enough.”he continued.
“It said, ‘When I die, Indiana Jones dies.’ And I wondered if Harrison Ford’s ghost would haunt me if he ever died and I played the character.”He concluded by saying he’d rather not go against the wishes of an original indie artist.

Harrison Ford actually said this on today’s microphone in 2019. “Don’t you understand? I’m Indiana Jones. When I go, he goes with me. Simple as that.”– hit the actor.
Recall that Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Tobey Jones, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook and Mads Mikkelsen will be by his side in his latest adventure with a whip and a hat.
