In February, Anitta was invited to celebrate four decades of the Rio de Janeiro Sambodromo. The star performed in an exclusive show alongside big names in music, such as Alcione, Zeca Pagodinho and Pretinho da Serrinha. Applauded, she showed a lot of samba and respect for the Rio Carnival!

The show was very well thought out, the country’s greatest artist crossed generations with samba icons, paraded and met Zeca and then Alcione. the directing was brilliant! Anitta’s voice in the songs… WHAT A BEAUTIFUL THING!

In April the powerhouses released the bold “Funk Generation”, an album entirely dedicated to the genre born in Rio’s favelas, but with songs in English and Spanish. The hits “Funk Rave”, “Joga pra Lua” and “Double Team” dominated charts around the world and helped expand the beat on the international scene! Subsequently, a tour of the album spanned several countries, including the United States. The dates? Worn out!
