Things are progressing for Fallout on the Prime Video side! A few months after renewing the sci-fi series for a second season, the platform is revealing its first name in casting, and no less. according to termActor Macaulay Culkin has recently been cast in a role that is still under wraps but has been introduced as a “A slightly mad genius”.

For those who grew up in the 90s, the name is especially reminiscent of the Mom I Missed the Plane saga, two essential Christmas movies. A child star who rose to fame during this decade, Macaulay Culkin also endured a veritable journey through the wilderness for nearly 10 years and experienced several media escapades.

Kieran Culkin’s brother (Legacy) has returned several times thanks to the small screen and was most notably the star of the 10th season of American Horror Story in 2021.

His role as a regular in Season 2 of Fallout, the fan-voiced adaptation of the video game saga, is therefore a real boon for the former child star, now 44.

What about the Fallout 2 season?

If Prime Video finally teases Fallout Season 2 news, you’ll have to wait until you find out about the sequel to the sci-fi series, which is notoriously long and expensive to post-production.

The Prime Video series does not follow the plot of the video games, with different characters from one edition to the next. On the other hand, thanks to the last shot of episode 8, we know that the second season will take us to New Vegas.

This city, which presents itself as a fortress with its walls, is at the center of a power game between the Management (who seems to be hiding there), the Brotherhood of Steel, the New California Republic and the new antagonist, Caesar’s Legion. It is a totalitarian and violent regime that threatens our young hero.

Lucy (Ella Purnell), Gol (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), Hank McLean (Kyle McLachlan), Norm (Moses Arias) and Barbie (Francis Turner) will return in Fallout season 2.
