Al EarthMaria said she cried with happiness when she found out her friend would be getting tested at the same place as her. The two recently met in the church they attend and want to take the same course at university: Law.
“I was very happy, I cried with happiness when I saw that we were going to do it in the same place, right Lívia? Because one will support the other, you know? Not having to come here alone and thinking ‘oh my God, what’s it going to be like?’ With a friend you are safer,” he says.
Maria Laura is finishing high school and is taking the test for the second time. Last year, still as a coach, she stopped participating in the second day, which covered natural science and mathematics issues. Despite reviewing the content, he confessed that accuracy is not his strong point and believes it will be difficult. “I’m not very good at math, but today I’m here for all or nothing,” she says.
Meanwhile, Lívia has arrived as an intern. The teenager is a sophomore in high school, but she thinks the test won’t be that difficult and she’s confident. As a friend, she is good at humanities, but can do well at mathematics, physics, chemistry and, above all, biology.
“My school has a high-quality education, so I come with the knowledge I have learned over the years. I didn’t make any effort, I’ll leave it alone for next year,” he underlines.
The two are residents of Brasilândia and arrived around 11.40am, as they took the bus to the test site and were afraid of being late. Since they arrived early, they brought with them some things to eat while they took the Enem.
“I brought my water and a pair of sneakers [chocolate]. Last week it was only water, I also calculated how long I would drink water, so as not to waste time,” revealed Lívia.
Maria arrived more prepared. “I brought a cookie and a bagel. Last Sunday I was very nervous, I only drank water [Hoje] I’m a little calmer,” he says.
