The officer, who had a domestic accident almost a month ago, has shown an “improvement” in his condition.
“He remains symptom-free and examination has shown improvement over previous tests, and he is expected to continue his usual activities, with clearance for air travel,” read a statement released by the medical team.
Lula will thus be able to attend the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for 18 to 19 November.
The PT member fell in the bathroom of the Palácio da Alvorada and injured his neck, so much so that he needed five stitches, which have now been removed. .
