The actor recalled Emma Stone’s audition for the role of Wichita
Jesse Eisenberg revealed that Emma Stone got a role in Zombieland (2009) after insulting him. They star in the film as Columbus and Wichita, respectively, alongside Woody Harrelson and Abigail Breslinin addition to the special participation of Bill Murray.
In an interview with the radio program The Spotlight with Jessica Shawthe actor said that stone stood out during the auditions to join the cast of the feature film directed by Ruben Fleischer.
“I was already cast in the film, so I was auditioning for her role, like many, that day,” he recalled. Eisenberg. “At that point, all the actresses were excellent, but they were all, like, trying to get into the movie, so they were being polite and everything.”
The actor continued: “So, [Stone] came in and just started making fun of me in the scene, like, just attacking me with insults in the scene, and it was so funny. They were so fast, funny and surgical. She left the room and I felt so, so small.”

“We were like, ‘Oh my God! This person is a genius’. And maybe she was 19 at the time of the audition. Like, she’s really a spectacular, unusually brilliant person,” he added.
