Paysandu confirmed his stay in Serie B of the Brazilian championship. On Monday evening (11), the Pará team had the support of the Curuzu fans and, with a goal from Esli in the 35th minute of the second half, they beat Brusque 1-0, in the 36th round of the Second League. The result relegated the Quadricolor to the C series of Brazilian football.

With the triumph at home, Papão reaches 46 points and remains in 13th position. Marreco, on the other hand, is 33rd in total. Penultimate place, the Catarina team no longer has any chance of getting out of the relegation zone.
