With their return to the elite, Santos will once again use the number 10. The shirt immortalized by Pelé was retired during Serie B, in honor of the King of football himself. When asked whether the shirt would be saved for Neymar’s possible return, the president was surprised by his response.
“His (shirt) is number 11,” said the Santos president, referring to the number with which Neymar stood out for Peixe.
