In 1869, deep in a gloomy forest full of wolves, two young boys bury a strange log from which the sound of a mysterious drum emanates. A century later, after being bullied by his comrades, young Alan Parrish recklessly drives to a construction site and discovers a trunk. Inside, he discovers an old wooden board game. The box with the silhouettes of wild animals is called Jumanji.
Later that evening, when his friend Sarah visits him, Alan suggests that they play. But when two children roll the dice for the first time, they have no idea that their lives and their entire world will be turned upside down.

A classic from the 90s
If you too grew up in the wonderful decade that was the 90s, chances are your childhood was rocked by a lot of (very) good movies. And if you also like adventure, mystery and danger, chances are Jumanji is one of them.
Directed in 1996 by Joe Johnston (also known for directing Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, another great classic of the time, but also the first installment of Captain America), this fantastic film has undoubtedly helped to capture the imagination of thousands of viewers.
