Almost 2 months in 12 countries in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia […]

The price of a trip around the world by train (96,925 pounds) is indicated directly on the site so no one can have any doubts: this trip is for a few people.

For R$ 715,315.22 (converted value as of November 12, 2024), the passenger travels around the world in 59 days, crossing 12 countries in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia, visiting more than 20 cities, including Bucharest, Varanasi and Johannesburg.

Around the world by train

The crossing begins in October 2025, in Canada, and continues for almost two months to the final point: Singapore, in Southeast Asia.

For obvious reasons the journey does not take place entirely by rail. But the bad news is that the airfare, including flights during the itinerary, must be paid separately.

After the first eight days in Canada, for example, the passenger flies from Vancouver on the Canadian west coast to Edinburgh, Scotland.

On European territory it takes practically 20 days, aboard classic trains such as the Belmond Royal Scotsman and the historic Orient Express, immortalized by Agatha Christie in the book ‘Murder on the Orient Express’.

It was during one of the company’s regular passenger trips that the British writer created one of her most famous works.

In 1929, her train from Istanbul was caught by surprise in a heavy storm and she was held up for six days in Tcherkesskeuy, now Çerkezköy, Turkey, long enough for the writer to create mystery plots featuring the detective Hercule Poirot.

In Europe, in 2025, travelers on a budget will also visit Rome, Verona, Paris and Budapest.

It is from Istanbul, half Europe and half Asia, that the journey will take on other rhythms.

From there the journey continues towards India (New Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi). From the Indian capital, another plane trip, this time towards southern Africa, passing through South Africa, the Victoria Falls and Cape Town, from where the last flight leaves, headed for Singapore.
