Christmas movies are finally back to delight genre fans! Two fictions are offered every afternoon on TF1. Something to brighten up our fall days.
The Christmas TV movie was shot in France
And the least we can say is that one of them risks bringing back memories for those who love Normandy, because love at first sight was filmed at a Christmas market in Rouen. Today at 14:20, it is the sweet French fragrance that reigns on our small screens.
Thus, all exteriors are natural settings. It is impossible not to recognize the typical Norman charm of the small village streets depicted in the TV movie. Even better, you might also recognize one of the Grey’s Anatomy stars, Jacey Elliott, as the hero of this romantic comedy.
Brant Dougherty (Pretty Little Liars) is the star of Love at First Sight at the Christmas Market
Alongside her is Brant Dougherty (Pretty Little Liars), who plays her soul. The actor also wrote a TV movie with his wife. The producer of this Hallmark movie recently talked about this topic in an interview with AlloCiné:
“Brant is a fabulous writer and actor. During the pre-production phases, when we needed to make changes to the script to fit the producer’s requirements, the locations and the channel, we worked with him as a screenwriter.” Jeffery Beach explains.
“However, once filming started, he became an actor again, it was a very interesting dynamic.” Needless to say, the man who played Noel (we couldn’t make him up) on Freeform’s flagship series was very involved.
Filming took place in the summer of 2023, which forced the team to completely change the streets of Rouen. As for the interior scenes, they were filmed in a studio in Sofia, Bulgaria. So don’t miss it Love at first sight at the Christmas market It starts this afternoon on TF1.
