Released in full lock-up in August 2020, this riveting thriller featuring Russell Crowe in extreme menace has gone relatively unnoticed, but Enragé is available today for all Prime Video subscribers and you better not miss it.
Russell Crowe is more dangerous than ever
for what Because it takes on the theme that allowed Steven Spielberg to gain attention in his TV movie Duel debut. The man in the car was being followed by a mysterious truck.
Enrage tells the story of Rachel, a mother trapped in the back of a pickup truck on fire that won’t leave. He blows his horn and drives off. Afterwards, an overtaking car catches up to her and its driver apologizes to Rachel. He refuses and leaves. The man follows her and begins to stalk her tirelessly.

A simple synopsis of a barely 1 hour 22 movie, efficient as hell! A pick-up truck and its driver, played by Russell Crowe (Nicolas Cage turned down the role), haunt poor Rachel (Karen Pistorius). Crowe’s build is such, and the display of violence so brutal, that we end up in a game of fear, in this tightly controlled entertainment.
The team that wins
Responsible for this success is the American director Derrick Bort – who already owes The Jones Family – who, with a camera over his shoulder, gives the necessary dynamism to Carl Ellsworth’s compact script, guaranteed without interruption! You can take our word for it: Enrage lives up to its name, and once you see it, you won’t soon forget its violent nature!
Russell Crowe and the director are set to team up for a new action thriller, Bear Country, in which a club owner is threatened by cartels and threatened with the retirement he’s been waiting for so well. If like Enrage, we’ll be there!
