A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Thursday 14 November 2024 episode 213 [SPOILERS]

Gabriel learns terrible news

Gabrielle and Thomas monitor the identity thief’s comings and goings. A black van pulls up in the parking lot. The two spouses immediately get out of the car, and Gabriel appears to the man as a victim of a crime. The man tries to explain, but Gabriel won’t let him speak.

Gabriel grabs the man by the collar and threatens him. Thomas (Laurent Kerussore) tries to calm her husband, but nothing works. Gabriel informs the man that he has to pay a fine of 10,000 euros because of him, but the latter replies that it is impossible because he only had five tickets: “It’s not me! Many of us go to the Dark Net to steal identities, they stole my license themselves.”

After an argument with the usurper, Gabrielle and Thomas decide to travel to the dark web. They discover the unthinkable: Gabriel’s driver’s license has probably been hacked dozens of times. The latter is in a panic, afraid that the matter will end badly.

Luna takes a (very) big risk

At the Marseille Penitentiary Center, Luna asks an inmate to borrow his phone for his daughter’s birthday, but the latter refuses. Luna wants to help her, but the young woman looks down on her.

Back in the cell, Luna tries to establish a dialogue with her comrade. He gives her the phone that Babette smuggled out. He tells her that he wants to help her because he knows how it feels to be separated from your child.

Finally, a young woman named Valerie agrees to show Luna a photo of her daughter, and then she opens up in a discussion. She tells him that her daughter’s name is Elena, it’s her sixth birthday and she’s being met by social services. Then he calls his son.

Later, the lawyer gives Luna a letter written by her mother, Barbara’s (Léa Francois) prescriptions, and the judges’ agreement for the preliminary hearing. Luna understands that a second parole request will be granted.

The prisoner could only stay here for two months. However, the lawyer warns his client: “Be careful, before listening to the waves, it is necessary.”

Luna asks Valerie if her daughter was happy on the phone. The latter confides in the answer that it is difficult to keep the distance. At the same time, two guards enter the room to search the cell, because they got a call from social services. Suddenly, Luna’s phone is taken away…

Ulysses and Julie share a secret

Leah is in charge of investigating Julie, Ulysses’ ex-fiancé (Jeremy Charvette). She informs Ulysses that she has ordered a blood test on the young woman to check that she is healthy. He confides in her that Julie left the marriage before exchanging consent.

On the other hand, Aya is sad because of Ophel, because the press only talks about Julie’s arrival during the show. Killian informs Aya that the bride is none other than Ulysses’ ex-girlfriend. At the same time, the Mistral user is listening to the conversation. He suddenly gets up from his desk and introduces himself to them as Anthony, Julie’s fiance.

He tries to find out where Julie is, but Aya and Killian refuse to answer him. Before leaving, he leaves them a business card. A few seconds after he leaves, he returns to pick up the phone, which he “forgot” but was actually recording a conversation between two Mistral employees.

In the Mistral, Ulysses meets Antony and tensions rise between the two men. Julie’s companion wants to know why she suddenly left the marriage, and Vanessa’s son (Agathe de la Boulaye) answers him: “I hope you suffer so much, I wish I never knew you.”

While Ulysses prepares a platter for Julie, Vanessa warns him: “He’s your ex and he left you. Do you realize that this woman is completely unstable? Spectacular disintegration is his thing!” At the same time, Julie comes out of her room.

Ulysses and Julie are walking in the park. The lawyer informs Julie that Anthony is looking for her: “He told me he loves you and doesn’t understand why you ran away.” The young woman does not understand why Ulysses protects this man : “You know what that means, I have to tell him the truth.” what is he talking about
