The president has not yet commented on the incident that caused the death of one person
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva met with the ministers of the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF) Alexandre de Moraes and Cristiano Zanin on Wednesday evening (13), at the Palácio da Alvorada.
The meeting comes after two explosions were recorded in Praça dos Três Poderes, in Brasilia, killing one person. Despite the incident, the meeting had already been organized to discuss expanding the public safety agenda in the federal government.
The director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, is also present with Lula to inform him in real time on the developments of the case. He even opened an investigation to understand what happened and not exclude the possibility of a new attack.
The tendency is for the case to pass into the hands of Moraes as a “prevention”, given that the minister is already rapporteur on investigations such as the one on the January 8 coup.
So far Lula has not made any official statement on the explosions before the Federal Supreme Court. .
