It was on May 16, 2013, after 9 seasons of great memories for its fans, the famous TV series The Office finally ended. Finally, after spending a long time at the Dunder Mifflin offices, we were able to attend Dwight and Angela’s wedding.
An event that viewers have been eagerly waiting for, with a particularly important return: the event of Michael Scott, played by the inexplicable Steve Carell, who left the series two years ago. However, as we recently learned in the Office Ladies podcast (with Télé-Loisirs), the famous actor almost did not attend the party and for a very specific reason:
“He felt that Michael’s story was really over.”
“It was Greg’s idea Steve’s Return”said Jenna Fisher, Pam’s interpreter on the series.
“He’s wanted to do it for a long time, and he proposed quite early in Season 9. But Steve didn’t want to. He felt that Michael’s story was really over. He didn’t want to open it up again. And most importantly, he didn’t want to come back after two years of absence, So that this last episode focused on him, that his character already had an end, and that that end applied to everyone else.
Chebonshur and Loshebin
As we learn on Jenna Fisher’s podcast, this latest episode was originally supposed to teach The Office fans that Michael Scott and his partner Holly had two children together. Jenna Fisher recalls:
“ Holly said: “Life is great. We have two sons, Chebonshur and Lowsheb. It was Michael who found their names. He said he was inspired by his feelings when he first saw them. “
