TV channel TNT and online cinema PREMIER announced the start of filming of the third season of the beloved TV series “Peace! Friendship! Gum!” in Moscow. In the previous season, a company of teenagers almost ran away from home to the sea, the Ryabinin family split, and the plot developed against the backdrop of a boom in financial pyramids and a wave of criminal cases brought against their creators. The third season will take the characters forward two years, and the story will unfold against the backdrop of the 1996 presidential election. A group of friends graduate from high school and enter adulthood with all its fears and hardships. Sanka will be sad for the past, Vovka will try to earn easy money, Zhenya will do everything not to be like her mother. While teenagers experience all the problems of the transition to adulthood, their parents will drown in the economic consequences of the events of that period.
Egor Gubarev, Valentina Lyapina, Egor Abramov, Fedor Roshchin, Polina Gukhman, Ksenia Katalymova, Stepan Devonin, Nikita Pavlenko, Larisa Udovichenko will return to their roles in the new season, as well as Yura Borisov, who plays Alik (“Afghan”). In addition, the cast was replenished with Yuri Kuznetsov, Varvara Shmykova, Fedor Fedotov, Alexandra Khromova and other actors, but the producers hid the name of one of them even on the plate, promising to name it a little later.
The guys matured early and the questions they are now looking for answers have become even more difficult and it is sometimes impossible to answer them unambiguously, – said scriptwriters Pyotr Vnukov and Alexander Belov. – In the new season, the circle of communication between the characters will expand noticeably, they will have to figure out together both what is happening around them and everyone in themselves … The heroes of the third season, like the whole country, face a difficult choice – to try to return the lost or still move forward. Nostalgia for first love, mistakes of youth that threaten to break life, painful losses and stubborn hope for the best – all this in the third season of “Peace! Friendship! Chewing gum!”
