In an interview, the actor revealed that his character kissed another man before killing him, but the scene did not make the final cut of the film.
Denzel Washington(Training Day) would have a gay kiss scene in Gladiator IIthe long-awaited sequel to the 2000 hit, which arrived in Brazilian cinemas this Thursday, November 14th, but the record ended up being left out of the final cut of the film.
When asked how gay the Roman Empire would be, washington revealed: “I actually kissed a guy in the movie, but they took it out [a cena]they cut it, I think they turned it yellow”.
“I gave a guy a kiss on the lips and I don’t think they were ready for that yet. I killed the guy five minutes later. Yeah Gladiator. It’s the kiss of death”added Washington.

Gladiator II continues the epic saga of power, intrigue and revenge set in Ancient Rome.
