Novorizontino blows up San Paolo and wins the Paulista Sub-20 in an unprecedented way

Tigre do Vale dominates the pitch from start to finish and prevents the Tricolor from lifting the eleventh State Cup of the category

Novorizontino won the Paulista U20 Championship title for the first time by beating San Paolo 3-0 on Friday evening at the Novelli Júnior stadium in Itu. Tigre do Vale’s winning goals were scored by Adriano Bispo, Pedro Balotelli and Victor Gabriel.

The first match, in fact, ended 1-1 in Novo Horizonte. This is a very interesting season for Novorizontino, both at grassroots and professional levels, as the team seeks unprecedented access to the elite of Brazilian football. On the other hand, San Paolo was looking for their tenth victory. The last time the Tricolor celebrated the title was in 2016, and the board itself asked for the match to take place in Itu, to preserve the Morumbi stadium pitch.

However, the match started balanced, but Novorizontino immediately took the lead. On the central counterattack, Hector passes to Adriano Bispo, who invades the area and hits low to open the score. Balotelli doubles the lead with a beautiful shot from outside the area. In the end, Victor Gabriel made a beautiful individual play on the left, invaded the area and hit the corner hard to score a great goal and define the title and the 3-0 victory.
